“David allows guests to speak, which is lovely. However, his ability to gently guide the guests - thereby fulfilling the storytelling purpose of the show - is not fully developed. For example, the Griffin Dunne interview felt like a generic book tour interiview. At some point, I forgot what podcast I was listening to because the focus had become so broad and dilute. I hope David continues to develop the show and his ability to listen and guide as an Editor, not just a fan.”
