“I attended Hillsong for many years in London. (I’ve since left). Slightly volunteered but did not get as embedded. On the one hand the church provided an incredibly welcoming place of worship and (in such a large city) it changed lives for the better. I do, however, think the untoward behaviour (especially at the top) is a shame. The average attendee had no clue about these details. Oh wait, I do recall a guy I knew who burnt out from volunteering exhaustion in London. He left the church at his wife’s insistence (also an ex attendee).”

“I know the premise is this is good journalism and a story that “needs to be told”… but I found that the amount of repetition was frustrating and probably added at least 20-40 minutes the the entire podcast that was unneeded.
