“TBH it took me a few episodes to get used to the narrator’s repetition of “the lanky man” & “the pale woman” — but after awhile I fell into the groove and just let Will Patton’s voice and the killer narrative work its magic.
This thing is packed with juicy atmosphere and some amazing voice work (ALL HAIL VINCENT D’ONOFRIO), plus it went in a completely insane direction I did not anticipate. I loved how the end tied everything together.
Minus 1 star for the mostly unlikable characters, and the really unnecessary super freaky sex scene — other than that, it’s gold.”

“The two main characters are extremely obnoxious (they both speak like they’re reading out of a thesaurus, I guess to make them seem “smart”? It’s bad) but the actual story itself is good and creepy.”
