Listen to Cameron and Sarris, skip Perry
I have long enjoyed the Fangraphs website and mostly like the podcast. Carson Cistulli is the type of host I imagine I would be, interested in the topic at hand, easy to distract down some rabbit hole, and asking a question out of left field catching a new guest off-guard. I genuinely like him. (Another commenter mentioned he believed it to be "inauthentic" which I don't agree with at all). The Dave Cameron interviews are the best. Listen to those if you don't listen to any others. I also really like Fantasy Fridays with Eno Sarris which are usually informative. The Dayn Perry segments are not that great, even for the Not Graphs editor. I guess I understand that some people may like the extremely random, wandering topics they stumble through, but Cistulli needs someone to keep him on track. When Dayn Perry is added to the mix, the whole show rolls downhill faster than a proverbial stone while gathering little to no moss. So, listen for Dave Cameron and Eno Sarris along with the others. Just skip the Dayn Perry episodes.Read full review »

Dayn Perry is like Neifi Perez, only opposite. Carson is more like a softer, more sensual John Rocker.

Love you Carson and dayn and Cameron. Keep up the good work. I Love that the podcast is so frequent and you should be commended for the guests, hijinks and general sweetness.

Some of the actual content can be quite good, but it gets to frustrating to get to the subject of...Read full review »
