terrific of late
while there has always been potential in bringing fangraphs to a podcast format, during this podcast's nascent stage, that promise had largely gone unactualized. however, in the past two weeks, this podcast has really begun to find it's voice (sorry, terrible, i know). i've been extremely impressed with the coverage of the winter meetings and carson's willingness to explore other topics in a manner accessible, but not condescending, to the average person... as was the case with his terrific discussion of writing and culture with ben greenman. another example of this was the discussion of the similarities of chess and baseball in the radiolabs segment. anyway, i really hope the podcast continues to pull the thread it's pulled recently, mixing regular contributors like dave cameron, other sabr-inclined beat writers, and the other stuff. it's really excellent. keep it up!Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast. Since they went to the shorter format with more podcasts, I think it has gotten even better. Great for the baseball nerd who also loves Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass.

Pretty okay, but not in the same class as Rany and Joe or Up and In.
