“After initial ambivalence towards Cistulli's banter, I now find him a witty and altogether prescient podcast host. His candor gives the podcast the unique character its baseball analysis sometimes falls short of. Mondays with Dave Cameron and Fantasy Fridays are solid entries, and leverage the Fangraphs analytical muscle to provide useful information. Tuesdays with Dayn Perry are, quite simply, a riot. I could do without the interviews, though--Fangraphs's competitive advantage is in its statistically informed view of baseball, not its access. Eliciting insight from players/coaches is far more difficult than from Fangraph contributors.”Read full review »
