“Found this on iTunes when they put it on the main homepage. I listened for a week, and have to say if you're new to FF, than the show should have some value. (But not much).
I think the hosts need to "Focus" more on FF news and info rather than the forced attempts at humor, teasing their producer (Jay Soderberg, they do it so often I know his name, but don't remember theirs), talking about their ranking on iTunes podcast list or Anderson Cooper. Too often they follow the ESPN host playbook and try to make the show about them rather than about the topic.
They HAVE to get rid of the "music bed." Hearing the constant looping music track is the background is really annoying. Legitimate “shows” don’t need overproduced stuff like that. (Again, “Foucs” on the content, not the bells & whistles).
I think they also need to "Focus" on not over using phrases (saying someone is or is not "a sexy pick") or just flat out mis-using terms. On 8/9 they were discussing "how far does Larry Johnson fall in drafts to where he becomes a "sleeper." Are you kidding me.?.? The answer is Never! Anyone taken in the 1st round isn't a "sleeper." (Heck, anyone in the first 6 rounds aren't sleeper picks). If LJ falls to the 4, 5 or 6 pick he becomes a "VALUE" pick, not a sleeper. Demetrius Williams is the definition of a 'sleeper.'
My best advice is look over other FF podcasts on iTunes. Try a bunch of them out and find one you like. ESPN’s Fantasy Focus has decent sound quality, but you’re not getting ground-breaking advice or tips. I wouldn’t use it for any more than the fact that it’s a daily FF show. I gave it a week, and I will go elsewhere….
There are some really decent ones (cough…Fantasy Football Weekly-KFAN AM…cough).”Read full review »

“If you're willing to put up with waiting 2 or 3 minutes before any actual content happens and if you're willing to put up with the random chatter that the hosts do (and they do a lot of it), it's a decent fantasy football podcast. But you really have to be a diehard ESPN fan to enjoy...”Read full review »

“I've found their predictions rather accurate, but sometimes fall a little short of the truth. The guys get a little off the topic A LOT, but it is still very entertaining.”Read full review »
