Fares Abbad was born in Sanaa, Yemen on April,12th, 1980, Fares Abd Rabbuh Mohammed Abbad is a Yemeni Qur’an reciter par excellence. His interest and inclination towards the Holy Quran started since he was a little boy. Sheikh Fadl Morad taught and helped him master the technique of reciting the Quran. He sought inspiration from and looked up to the gems of the Islamic world, namely, Abdul Basit Abdul Samad and Mohamed Al Mohisni.
