Expect to be moved emotionally
I did not, and I was, and it ended up being glorious. Five stars for this first episode. A candid conversation provides the portal to a realm where true affection for the character of Batman - and indeed the structural foundations of animation in general - are palpable forces. The mind of Paul Dini is littered with artifacts of a life well-spent creating, and the unequaled approach of Kevin Smith's casual, conversational tone acts as a map enabling each of us to experience these treasures, in the small manner in which is possible without having actually been a part of the proceedings. It's an excellent first episode, and sets the bar pretty high. If you're a fan of what is now considered "old-school" animation, you would be well-served by downloading this podcast. Your attentions will be rewarded.Read full review »

This was one of the most entertaining pods Kevin has ever done. Paul Dini is amazing and tells a really cool background story. If you're into Batman, this is a must. Hope to hear some Kevin Conroy, Frank Miller, Adam West. Thanks for such an awesome idea for a show that rocks, Mr. Smith.Read full review »
