Gripping story told in most boring way possible
How the hosts managed to turn a gripping and horrific story into the most repetitive & boring podcast is an accomplishment. I’d never heard about John List so was initially intrigued. Yet the hosts have a habit of using lots of words to say absolutely nothing. Such a shame with all the material they obtained. I also found it disrespectful how they told the story in a conversational manner like they were sitting around the dining table ‘shooting the s*%#’. Made the podcast feel like it was more about them and all their random thoughts than the victims and those affected by the case. I suffered fully though first episode, then several more trying to fast forward bits where they went off on one of their long, repetitive and no value add dialogues, but gave up.

This podcast series is excellent. A deep-dive into the mind of a killer and the family that has you hating the killer one minute and feeling sorry for him the next. I’ve known about this case but learned much more through your investigative journalism. Great job!
