“I preface this by saying I know a lot about this case. Episode 1 is a cluster muddled mess. A basic search of this case will give you the foundation you need to get started. Avoid being wildly confused by skipping the 1st episode. It’s literally all over the place. It does get better in the later episodes but is feels more like two true crime lovers discussing the case rather than actual journalism.
By the 3rd episode, you finally start to get a chronological foundation, but there are still references to things without ever having mentioned it. For instance, they make multiple references in the first three episodes to “where he goes” or “finding him” but never once, not even in the 1st episode do they ever mention that he fled for 18 years.
It’s fine but I was hoping for more “journalism” and less confusion.”
