A Refreshingly Positive Perspective in a World of Negativity
I recently started listening to this podcast, and I both really enjoy it and greatly appreciate their approach/goal. Hearing them pull out and chew on the good aspects of a film is wonderfully refreshing in a world where negative film criticism is the easy and unfortunately popular thing to do. But it was really their doing that despite not liking a movie that was a bit of a revelation to me. Their Chariots of Fire episode (Epi. 17) is a paragon of this. Host Aaron White didn't love the movie as a whole, but both he and co-host Patrick pulled so much out of the film that I went from thinking, "Eh, I don't need to visit this one again," at the beginning of the episode, to "Oh man, I have got to re-watch this movie!" by the end. It was a fantastic perspective shift! Thank you guys for all you do! I'm definitely going to keep feelin film 😋Read full review »

When I want great movie reviews, Feelin’ Film is one of my go-to sources. Aaron White and Patrick Hicks bring a refreshing perspective that’s never overly negative. I’m glad they emphasize what the LOVE rather than what the dislike.
