Excellent show that has changed
It’s difficult for me to accept how much this show has changed over the years. I miss the video game reviews and discussion and I’m disappointed that they don’t cover games anymore—it wasn’t just Carolyn, Anita used to be a gamer too. The only time they’ve covered any games in the past year or so, they had random people on discussing random games that no one cares about. If I had to give the podcast a rating, I’d say now that Kat Spada is on board, it’s back up to a 4, but for me the average is 3 or 3.5. Some of the good faith criticism in these reviews is correct in characterizing the frustration with this show. So why the 5 stars? Because worthless pieces of trash give it only 1 star out of hate and this is to make up for that.

I don’t always agree with their take on pop culture, but it’s always interesting. And it’s wonderful to hear opinions I wouldn’t get to experience otherwise.

Love these feminist freq killjoys! I have so much fun listening to them tearing through beloved media and I often empathise with Carol. All three feel so real, as if they're your friends sitting in your living room and always talking about interesting things.Read full review »

Listening to Anita, Carolyn and Ebony is like hanging out with my friends. I constantly feel like I’m learning something new, staying on top of what’s happening in pop culture and definitely having a laugh. For real though, Ebony is hilarious. Big fan of all of Feminist Frequency’s work- videos...Read full review »
