My Favorite Feng Shui (and overall holistic) Podcast
I have been dabbling in feng shui practice over the past 20+ years as I have witnessed my mom use feng shui as a tool for overall well-being of our household while growing up. She had many books on feng shui and other holistic practices. When I became more and more interested in how feng shui works, I began reading her collection of books. I just couldn’t get enough of learning about feng shui in my spare time. Fast forward to today with an endless amount of information online, I am *still* learning so much about feng shui during my spare time. Now that I am a relatively new mother, it is difficult for me to sit down and read a book with my almost nonexistent spare time due to “mommy duties.” This is where this podcast fulfills my never-ending thirst for learning about feng shui and other holistic practices that complement it so well. I love listening to this podcast while doing housework, eating, or whenever I get the chance. I appreciate that these two ladies are not trying to copy what many other social media “influencers” are doing with how the post their content. What these two ladies post online feel more genuine as they incorporate tarot, I Ching, and other divination tools into what they post. I appreciate what they do as I always feel like I’m learning more and more from them. I also LOVE listening to whenever they have their monthly forecasts. Bottom line: this is the podcast to listen to because you won’t get the typical social media “influencer” using the shock factor just to reel in more followers. Update (Aug 2023): Of course, this is still my favorite podcast for the same reasons as listed in my original review above. I want to add that I deeply appreciate that they show the RESPECT for the history of feng shui. I love how they discuss how different aspects of feng shui began and how it has evolved to the what it is currently. This shows their deep understanding of feng shui. I also love how they acknowledge how there are multiple modalities of how to work with something and that no one modality is the only or best way to do something. I appreciate how they also pay respect to their teachers and their reasons for why they have chosen their teachers.

I tried to make it through the episode on Moon Cycles but couldn’t finish due to the consistent forgetting of names and lack of credit to the proper cultures where the speakers were getting their knowledge from (“That one astrophysicist” or “I think it comes from Egyptian culture”). I have been learning more and more about feng shui and I love that Laura and Angie make it relatable. Not every recipe works for the same client and home and I think that’s refreshing to know what works for one doesn’t work for all. There’s lots of fun tips in their podcast to be able to make...Read full review »
