Was enjoying and appreciating until Ep.4
The first three episodes were intriguing and challenging. I felt they did a nice job expositing the biblical imperative for what is effectively sabbath or "rest" not just as a once a week activity but as a framework for how we live as followers of Christ in the world he created and sustains. And then in a fairly rapid and surprising turn, episode four descends squarely into therapeutic deism. Rather than using scripture to guide us, we are now being "taught" by two individuals who have little or no psychology training that we should act in certain ways because it is good for us. It's no worse than listening to a self-help podcast of course, but it's not better, and that's my problem. I hope that future drops will course correct in this regard, but given the explanation that the remaining episodes are to be topical I anticipate it will continue.Read full review »

Such a good listen that is so relevant to our current culture. This was convicting for me but I felt like I left each podcast with practical was to practice each spiritual “formation” discussed.
