Fighting Talk is dying a death
This show used to be brilliant, and is still occasionally good - if Mills, Rawling, or Bunce are on as guests then it is worth listening to, and obviously when Jonny Vaughan returns irregularly; but as others have said, Colin Murray is ruining this great programme. He does not have the wit of either previous presenter, which is not necessarily a problem - when Gabby Logan guest-hosts, she tends to keep in the background and leave the show for the guests' answers. Unfortunately, Murray believes he is extremely funny (likely thanks to the teenyboppers he drags behind him from Radio 1) and consequently will not shut up for more than 20 seconds. If the beeb must retain him as host, then at least exert some quality control. Ideally, Murray would recognise his repartee is becoming staler than it was to begin with, and do the decent thing and step down. This show used to be the best thing on the radio!Read full review »

One of the best podcasts out there... incredibly funny and intelligent. But it’s the rapport between the guests on the programme that make it truly special. A must download for all those who understand that Saturday afternoon is for one thing only… and that one thing isn’t shopping.
