Long time listener but I’ve realized I usually feel irritated after listening. This last episode about The Quiet Place 2 was super cringe. In the same breath they said that Millicent Simmonds is the heart of the film. Yet they claim that the film oddly conforms to “outdated gender roles”....Read full review »

Real cinema-lovers who know their stuff and infuse their podcast with enthusiasm and movie-history context. Great source of recommendations - new releases and classics - and quite simply a great movie-buff show. Lovely tone to their conversations too - accessible and erudite. Recommended.
