A really great podcast for beginners like me. A minor quibble that has little to do with the podcast, but everything to do with Shakespeare. In the latest episode, the host unfairly characterizes Shakespeare as not being "spot on" with his advice about "neither a borrower nor a lender be." Mark is unfortunately confusing author with character. It's not Shakespeare touting that philosophy: it's Polonius, the flawed character he's created. It would be like ascribing homicidal tendencies to Shakespeare because he wrote "Why, I can smile, and murder whiles I smile." That's Richard III claiming that, not Shakespeare.Read full review »
