“Jim and John have been doing this podcast since 2001, and I have been listening since around 2007. The show, like fine wine, improves every year with age. this year they have moved to a bifurcated model of weekend free shows, and mid-week pay shows. Frankly, I always wondered why they did not charge in the past the content is so good.
Over the years their style has improved, the guests have definitely improved, and Jim's interview style is always friendly, non-confrontational, while still probing. Jim is definitely one of "the good guys" and has no hidden agendas.
