“If you missed following along with the "The Twin Peaks Podcast" as it happened (another great TP podcast), then this your chance for redemption. As for the hosts, Jeremy is the veteran and his voice, which I'm not sure if it is deliberate or not, actually reminds me very much of David Lynch himself in the way he speaks and the intonation. And he does takes good care not to spoil anything for us ahead of time. Allie sounds like a charming girl and experiencing the world of Twin Peaks through her fresh, new eyes is great. Likewise the guests have all been true fans with some really fascinating stories of their own to tell.
I am fairly eager to see the "in-depth" part of the podcast become more apparent, as so far a lot of analysis and discussion has been fairly surface level and encourage the hosts that, in the future, it's perfectly fine for them to poke fun at some of the more ridiculous elements of the characters or elements of the plot that just don't quite work as well as they could've. I know us fans do. An example that jumped out at me was in the Episode 3 (4) review, neither host commented on the discrepancy between what we saw of Cooper's dream in the last episode and the many extra details he gives to Lucy and Harry about it that we never saw (such as "Mike shooting Bob"), which I was surprised by.
But whether you're already hopelessly fascinated by the world of Peaks or a newcomer watching for the first time, this podcast rocks.”
