Description
This week Olympian, 2023 British 1500m champion and world finalist, and the newly crowned British record holder for the mile, Katie Snowden, joins the podcast to shed light on the secret to sustained success. Katie is not only an exceptional athlete with regard to her calibre, but her avoidance of injuries and other major obstacles is definitely something to talk about. Another unique aspect to Katie is the number of years she has sat in at the very top of the spot. She still holds the number 1 all time spot for the 400m as a U15, which is only a part of her loaded resume of junior accomplishments which include world championships and the junior Olympics. Obviously Katie was born to run. But talent alone is never enough in such a tough sport. Katie also has, and has had, a great mindset and approach to training, which she shares in the episode. Including as always a female specific discussion point which this week delves into a women's only meet. Follow Katie Follow the podcast #running #femaleathlete
