Episode 48
So relatable in so many ways. I put my family on the biggest pedestal during the beginning of my relationship with my husband and suddenly the family dynamic came crashing down. When Jamie talks about having a great upbringing with his dad but then talks about his dad not being present for the past 20 years it makes me acknowledge all the excuses I’ve made for my dad. He was a good dad for a season of my life, and sometimes that’s not good enough. Even though we still love them, it’s good to be aware so you can grow and not make the same mistakes with your children. Thank you for making me feel I’m not alone!
