Downward Turn
There are no centrist or center left voices featured. And as the election approaches the coverage has leaned away from data into more of a group therapy session for the hosts. And the topic doesn’t seem to matter. Israel, debates, Trump… Conversations start off with a data point then slide into a warm bath of emotion.

It's a must listen if you follow the election circus. It's not just that the podcast talks about what's in the news, but also the how and why of what's in the news. I'm more informed and without all the yelling and bias of the talking heads. They keep it light even though...Read full review »

The group is lively and evenhanded; their data are impeccable; BUT they do not have enough quality material to fill 40 minutes. Please cut the podcast to, say, 20 minutes. Maybe broadcast the shorter podcast twice a week, like Planet Money. Just a thought...
