Felt like a fly on the wall
This new podcast has the feel of a super intelligent, impromptu conversation that could be overheard at a bar frequented by young professor’s in an Ivy League town. The participants have had a long day researching and processing political data and now it’s time to share their observations and insights with each other in an informal and humorously irreverent way. This informative conversation was made all the more entertaining by the historical, philosophical and pop cultural references that popped into the conversation, sometimes hitting and sometimes missing. My particular fave: The description of the former mayor of New York’s possible entry into the 2016 prez race as being a “Bloomberg ex machina.” Can’t wait to be a fly on the wall for their next meeting.

Reviewing this a bit prematurely, but the first episode was good. If the blog is any indication, these folks will be worth listening to!
