Love you guys.
Flitetest got me into flying planes. I used to only fly copters. My experience with planes was just as they said in a podcast. My first plane disappointed me so much when I crashed, that I gave up on the hobby. I first started watching flitetest episodes because David was on there, and I built my first tricopter off of his design. I had no interest in planes, so I skipped around to copter episodes. I loved the personalities of Josh and Josh and the whole crew. They had such great attitudes, values, and brought life to the shows, that I started watching plane videos out of boredom. I got hooked on building planes. The first plane I built was the versa wing. and I crashed it the first flight. So discouraged, But, they motivated me to keep trying, by the fact that being able to build them, takes away the fear of flying/crashing. I found myself going back to the simulator and flying patterns, loops, and flips. I got my daughter into it and she was awesome on the simulator. One night and she was a pro. The Planes movie planes were a major contributor to my experience. My daughter loves the dusty plane we made together. But, the discouragement of crashing kept me down, and I built like 10 planes before I tried again. A great thing I found that helped me was prop savers. I went through so many props before I figured that out. But, as they said in the podcast, I felt like a child again on my first successful flight, that I was hooked. I have only had about 6 successful flights since then, but I am finding myself waking up early every day going out to the soccer field flying, and it feels great. So exciting. I owe it all to these guys, and have seen all of their episodes, and can't wait for the next one. Keep up the great work, and thanks for your desire to help others. Love my bat-bone v copter too, It looks so cool.Read full review »

Well done! The content was informative and honest, which is one of the reasons I follow FliteTest closely. From a technical point of view, the audio mix was clean, though at times the volume level was a bit low. It was difficult to hear all of what Josh B. was saying at some points. I loved...Read full review »

Have been a fan for quite a while, regularly listen to podcasts while I work (ATTF, RCTodayShow, RCHN). You guys put on a great show in the videos, I can't wait for the podcasts where, having the different format can dig a little deeper and discuss some of the things that don't make it...Read full review »
