“As someone who lived in New Orleans during Katrina, I was hesitant to listen at first. “Outsiders” tend to get the story wrong. But wow...this podcast was absolutely stunning. Gripping in its honesty and compassion, I was shouting in agreement and crying in PTSD at times, sometimes simultaneously. The host and the production team did a wonderful job of capturing all angles with an honest look while also treating it with the respect and tenderness the subject matter and the interviewees deserved. Simply remarkable. I was disappointed at the end, only because I wanted more. Thank you for treating this subject with the reverence it deserves, and most importantly, for not forgetting about our beloved city.”

“I lived in New Orleans during this storm and was a counselor for a workforce of over 2,000 people. I heard more stories than I can count of people who were in Nola for the storm. This is the most realistic depiction I’ve heard yet. Amazingly well done.”
