Mike Chantry was involved in most major snowboarding contests beginning with the 1983 Worlds (featuring the first snowboarding halfpipe ever) all the way through the US Open and Olympics games. Mike scored 17th at that first contest and is a solid snowboarder in his own right. Tom Hsieh is the godfather of snowboarding media. He started Absolutely Radical Magazine in 1985 years before Transworld. Here we have the story of how he started the world's first snowboard mag and why he eventually changed the name to ISM. This is a piece of snowboarding history I'm seriously proud of. Recorded in person with Tom Hsieh at The Legends of Tahoe event at Donner Ski Ranch where we got to ride powder together along with a group of absolutely radical legends.

Darrah and Geeves are two Winnipeg legends of professional snowboarding that moved to Whistler after growing up together at Forest Mountain, a converted gravel pit with a rope tow. The two are old friends and their careers happened together almost 20 years apart... Darrah's board is out right now on DWD and Geeves was a part of the legendary DC crew as a young teenager into his late 20's... These tow get along great after all these years and I'm honoured to have them on the show....

Nix is a Whistler legend born and raised in Calgary. He named and invented the frontside rodeo (after Calgary) and was trying to land it the day Kevin Young first put it down. He worked at 4 star Distribution and was a staple in the Canadian Snowboard scene writing articles for Snowboard Canada that defined the era.

Rube Goldberg is a Whistler pro snowboarder from the 90's and 2000's whose smooth style landed him in movies and magazines. Rube is a snowboarder's snowboarder who also had some success in competitions, when I met him at The Baker Banked Slalom he had qualified 1st in the pr men's masters category.
