Court Larabee, or Blackbird, the English translation of his anishnaabe name he uses  when doing spiritual work, is a snowboarding  powerhouse who is dedicated to raising spirit in the indigenous community . He won Whistler’s rising star award, competed in The Amazing Race Canada 8, become a celebrated actor, all while helping run The Indigenous Life Sports Academy, an organization that brings indigenous youth snowboarding on their territorial lands.  Lately, Court has been bridging the gap between resorts, cat, and Heli operations and the Indigenous people upon whose land their operations exist.
