“I have tremendous respect for Dr. Dobson - or maybe I should say I "had." While he has some great feedback for couples in this podcast and for parents in other podcasts, he is a completely political shill nowadays. He has gone off the deep end, basically talking politics in almost every single show. He also is now in the business of deciding who is a believer. He recently talked about how he didn't believe Fred Thompson was a Christian? Whatever happened to "judge not lest ye be judged"? I don't believe that as Christians we are in a position to determine the faith of our fellow folks. We also are not in a position to pontificate about the greatness of the Republican party. Democrats also fight for many Christian principles (the least among us being one). Dr. Dobson is also selective in his faith and forgiveness: he currently forgives and embraces Newt Gingrich, while of course Clinton is a depraved sinner (Newt was having an affair at virtually the same time he was condemning Clinton). Dr. Dobson should go back to discussing the family and matters of faith. At that he used to excel.”Read full review »
