Bring it on!

This podcast series is better at unpacking complex Australian politics than anything I have read or seen. It’s like a friendly University degree each episode. I have grown so much in my understanding of the world thanks to this good work. I wish everyone would take the time to tune in.

This podcast has become a firm favourite. I’ve enjoyed listening week after week and engaging with their webinar series. Highly recommend for those who are curious about alternative perspectives to environmental, economic and political issues.

I am so happy that I discovered The Australia Institute and this podcast! I have learned so much about economics, politics and current affairs from all of your free content. I am an epidemiology student who adores learning and who spends a lot of time trying to contextualise information as much...Read full review »

Fantastic podcast with very informative interviews and presenting important research

Follow The Money is a fascinating program - facts presented by people who really know what they’re talking about. Much of the information shows how poorly served ordinary people are by their governments. Vested interests seem to always be pandered to - particularly, but not only, by Coalition...Read full review »

Love the show. But very disappointed that you are no longer posting audios recordings from the Economics of a Pandemic webinar series. If there is a reasons tell listeners. I cannot make the webinars live, and time at home is precious ie no time to sit and watch the YouTube recording. Driving to...Read full review »

Can you please ask your guests to watch their language. Mr Planet A - love the message, but the language was unnecessary!

Very interesting and informative podcasts that stimulate thinking outside the box. ✅Be great to have our Politicians listen and act on many of the content. 😳

It’s hard to keep up with the news and Follow the Money makes it simple and easy to understand what is going on and gives the audience the chance to make up their own mind about the issues that face the country.

Love this. Who knew economics wasn’t boring? Richard Denniss, can you run for parliament? They need you!

The Australia Institute would definitely be part of my Political Dream Team. You will find thought provoking and well researched conversations and talks that will stimulate your economic and political brain.

This podcast is very informative and interesting, but the sound quality is poor.

Great informative podcast that gives you a far more insightful view of the mechanisms of the economy we live in as opposed to the commercial media trollop we are fed on a daily basis. More podcasts please!

Team, I love your podcast and am always checking in for more. Standing by for some more great insight and discussions.

Great podcast for those wanting to cut through the jargon and spin. Could try a little bit harder to present contrasting views in a less sarcastic, glib way - but then again the mainstream gets plenty of time to make it’s case elsewhere. Make more podcasts!

Love love love this podcast! So rare to find a finance and political podcast that demystifies the current economical climate. Perfect for millenials that are just looking up from their smashed avo on toast to realise that life is much more important than their next Instagram selfie. Enjoyable,...Read full review »

Takes us through some really interesting issues in simple, clear ways. Whether you agree with the presenters or not, this is a must listen if you have an interest in Australian Politics and economics. Setting the standard in public discussion of political-economy for the lay-person.

For those criticising this podcast as being one-sided, you're missing the point. This podcast is the reply - the reply to the mainstream econobabble thatwe get shoved down out throats everyday. This is a great podcast that covers topical/important economic issues facing Australia in a very accessible and humourous way. One of my favourites.

I know Richard Denniss was switched on, but I didn't know The Australia Institute had so many awesome economists. These shows are very useful for taking on ill-informed free-market fundamentalists, muddle-headed lefties and libertarians alike. Listen, learn and win the argument with facts.Read full review »

Economics in simple terms. We need a lot more of this.

The TAI do a great job of presenting economic ideas in simple terms, and skewering the deliberate obfuscation and tripe that comes from the mouths of most politicians.

Before going out flaunting that it is the most downloaded podcast in Australia, I'm keen to see if the second episode has more independant experts and not just the in-house economists... I'll withold judgement until I've seen evidence of that.Read full review »
