For the first time in Food Fight history, Kirk and Lindsey bring on a fan to join in on the fighting! The two bring on the awesome Bianca Coleman to discuss how she got into the show, her food icks and food yums, her indifferent attitude to sweets, her obsession with French fries, and how many times does she yell at Kirk vs. how many times she yells at Lindsey whenever she listens to the pod? Oh, and they finally get to hear the backstory about Bianca's amazing plate ware that she shows off...

How hot is too damn hot? That's the question Kirk and Lindsey dive into this week as they talk about hot sauces, the best foods to put it on (oyster - yes, ice cream -wtf?), which commercial brand has the most flavor, how long have you kept a hot sauce that was given as a gift, and which wacky brand name of hot sauce is actually the dumbest?

With Lindsey out of town, Kirk and frequent guest Kelly Wallace-Barnhill do the unthinkable...another fine-dining food auction! Will this be a trainwreck like the previous four auctions? Or will Kirk and Kelly take this to a higher, more spiritual level? And will there be math again?

Question: What do you do when you spend a week in Paris and Rome?
Answer: You eat EVERYTHING. And then you do a podcast about it where your partner who didn't go with you judges you on how well you ate. And that's exactly what this episode is about.

Kirk: "Let's do a taco tour..."
Lindsey: "Hold my beer..."
What was supposed to be a casual night of eating some tacos with friend of Food Fight! Kelly Wallace-Barnhill turned into a lesson in math. Lindsey went into full-metal planning mode, Kelly questioned if this should even be happening, and Kirk complained cause he missed his Saturday nap. Luckily, LA has the best tacos around so in the end, all was forgiven.

Kirk and Lindsey aren't nutritionists. They're barely functional human beings. So take what they say with a grain of salt when it comes to their hot takes on gluten-free foods. (Wait...is salt gluten-free?)

Both Kirk and Lindsey agree that if it wasn't for French fries, they wouldn't eat many potatoes. Yet each time they talk of a potato dish, they rave about it. Weird? Yeah, well that's this episode. The two debate the proper way to load your baked potato, the dumbness of twice-baked potatoes, are mashed potatoes all that, fingerlings vs. redskin, russet vs. Yukon, how much cheese should go on a potato, and if there is no skin...then there's no eat-y.

Linsey is finally back! And this week she and Kirk jump right into a heaping pile of mac and cheese, debating the best instant brands, does it need a protein in it, does it need a veggie in it, what's worse - too dry mac and cheese or too wet, shells vs. elbows vs, tubes, why does everyone get so gooey over lobster mac and cheese, and then the two trash any mac and cheese dish that is not officially just mac and cheese... staring daggers at you, mac and cheese balls.

Happy Chinese New Year! (It's the year of the rabbit, FYI.) And what's the best way to celebrate that holiday? By going to a Thai food fest, of course! This week frequent guest and FOFF Kelly Wallace-Barnhill joins Kirk and his wife on a field trip to the Wat Thai Temple in North Hollywood, not to experience any sort of spirituality, but to literally eat their weight in yummy Thai food. Gung hay fat choy!

Lindsey is still out, so Food Fight All-Star Jackie Brubaker jumps into the food fray to talk about cheese-flavored snacks. And on this episode we’re tackling the really important questions like: How cheesy does your cheese-flavored snack need to be? How orange do you want it to look? Cheetos vs Doritos? Are keto cheese crisps all that? And the most important question…Better out of the box or in a bowl?

It’s the start of 2023 and Lindsey is on vacation…again. So Kirk decides to school his college-bound son Theodore on the fine art…of…well…eating in college. The two discuss what to eat and what not to eat, dining hall food, peanut butter, ramen, tuna mac and cheese, crackers, canned soup, and, of course, ALL THE PIZZA. And Kirk forces Theodore to eat an absolutely gross dish he used to make when he was a college student in the ’90s. (Is that good parenting or great parenting?)

We finally made it to the end of 2022! So to honor the end of one year and the beginning of the new one, what are Kirk and Lindsey doing? They’re saying “F it. ” That’s right — the two are just gonna talk about the foods they eat when they wanna say “F it, I have had enough of this day,” or “F it, I earned this,” or even “F it, I can’t even with Kirk anymore.” The two dive into what does and doesn’t constitute F-it food, is pizza really and truly an F-it food, where to eat your F-it food, and...

It’s time for the holidays, aka, time for eating anything and everything! Kirk and Lindsey love this time of year but, of course, it comes with some caveats. They discuss why everything has so much damn peppermint in it, is lasagna a Christmas dish, why all the meat courses during the holidays are dumb, bacon-wrapped scallops vs. bacon-wrapped dates, why cookies are the most holiday dessert of all, and the two come up with the perfect Lifetime holiday movie that somehow turns naughty and not...

When it comes to water, who doesn’t want sparkling water over flat? No one, that’s who. In this episode, Kirk and Lindsey are talking about all things sparkling water and, boy, do they drink that topic up. They discuss ice or no ice, fruit wedge or no fruit wedge, underrated and overrated flavors, and which brands are awesome and which are just trying too hard. Then the two play the La Croix Elimination Game to see which La Croix flavor will be left standing. And, for the first time in Food...

Let’s just say what we’re all thinking: If you don’t like grilled cheese, then you don’t deserve nice things or friends. Grilled cheese is damn near perfect, and this week Kirk and Lindsey celebrate a meal that is just bread, cheese, and butter. They debate best/worst bread, best/worst cheese, how sexy is that cheese stretch, which is worse — burnt grilled cheese or not-melted-enough grilled cheese, best add-ons, when grilled cheese gets too cute with flavors, and does grilled cheese even...

A few episodes back (the wine party episode to be exact), off the pod Kirk brought out a handmade cookbook from 1972 that his mom was given when the family moved to the suburbs of Cleveland. Everyone thought it was so funny (and everyone had had so much wine), that Kirk and Lindsey decided that the two of them, along with Jackie Brubaker and Kelly Wallace-Barnhill, would randomly choose a recipe from the book, recreate that exact recipe, come back, and have a 1970's housewives dinner party....

It’s no big secret that Kirk and Lindsey are trash monsters and that they may need some…okay, A LOT…of help in the etiquette department. So this week they’ve invited the hosts of the incredible podcast Were You Raised By Wolves? to come on the show to discuss Thanksgiving manners, etiquette, and, of course, food. The four also dive deep into the question, “What do you do when friends invite themselves over for Thanksgiving?” and, more importantly, learn the power of the phrase,...

If you don’t think of vegan food as trying to be anything else than vegan food, then it’s actually pretty tasty. That being said, some vegans are just the WORST (looking at you West Side Los Angelenos) and the commitment to being vegan can be rough. (Vegan cheese, anyone?) So this week, Kirk and Lindsey hash out their feelings on vegan food, how well it works in Asian food, how awful it works in Italian, the genius of jackfruit, the acceptability of vegan desserts, why the F it’s so damn...

When it comes to cajun food, Kirk and Lindsey are real dumb dumbs. (Well, more so than usual.) So on this episode they have a lot more questions than answers, such as jambalaya vs. gumbo, are po boys the best sandwiches ever, are red beans and rice too underrated, is chicory coffee all that, would they eat rabbit, would they eat alligator, and what’s the deal with all the damn King Cake dessert mutations?

Kirk and Lindsey love peanut butter so much that they just had to do an entire episode on it. (You’re welcome.) They debate crunchy vs. creamy (again), salted vs. unsalted, best peanut butter desserts, best and worst peanut butter combos, and weirdest dishes made with peanut butter. (Like…um…chili?) More importantly, Lindsey discovers a secret about her new husband that is so shocking that it makes her question her marriage!

Lindsey’s married, bitches! And to celebrate that, Kirk and Linds are having a wine party with Food Fight friends Kelly Wallace-Barnhill and Jackie Brubaker. They’ve got red, white, rosé, unfiltered wine, Prosecco, and they’ve even got a charcuterie board AND chocolate chip cookies! And they’re talking wine too: Bests, worsts, is it basic or is it classy, wine coolers and spritzer, crushed ice in wine (WUT?) how wine is made for talking, how getting 2 Buck Chuck in your 30s is WRONG, and, for...
