Matt Lucas has been living in a hole.
It seems that they got Matt Lucas on to the show purely to attract downloads. He seems to have stopped supporting Arsenal about ten years ago as he obviously knows nothing about them anymore. He has no idea about the current league status and no idea of the general rules of the champions league. Don't get me wrong, he's a funny guy ( almunia being scouted in a bar was hilarious) but the producers could have got someone on to the show with at least an idea as to how many points Man Utd are from us! When listening to other football podcasts (not just The Tuesday club) you get the sense you are listening to a mix of either experts or die-hard fans, which is what you want to hear. I might as well be asking my dog his opinion on the middle east crisis with the insights this show fails to bring. You don't need major celebrities to make a podcast successful.Read full review »

I must admit I was skeptical at first – but this podcast is fantastic. Please don't listen to the negative comments. I actually prefer this to Aland Davies' one. Keep it up :) PS - where's last weeks?Read full review »
