So many moms are jerks...
...but T and Lynette are not! I appreciate their willingness to be honest about their personal experiences being parents. It is hard to find your way sometimes and parenting can feel like a lot of trial and error. It seems so easy (based on the sheer volume of critical content out there) to criticize other moms for their choices, so thanks to this podcast for trying to be fair and respectful. Momhood can be lonely as it is; I don't understand our desire to one-up each other and attack other moms/families and their situations. Every family has a different story. A lot of reviewers seem stuck on the fact that these ladies have the benefit of "help." How rude to imply that they are any less parents than anyone else. And who cares how old their kids are? Experience and insight are not merely results of time. They are the result of being thoughtful and reflective - which these ladies and their guests prove to be through their weekly questioning and sharing on this cast. I look forward to every new show.Read full review »

Something about the beginner-like honesty draws the listener in. I have no need for children, but I find the conversations to be magnetic like eavesdropping at starbucks.
