Great-ish
Jonathan taps into his relationships in the running world to have meaningful conversations with interesting people about how running affects their lives. He has a set of standard questions he asks most guests that keep his show pleasantly predictable, but he also has some infuriating opinions he consistently presents as facts. His thoughts on time goals for races alone, which is your time goal is irrelevant if it’s not a world record, is pretentious dogmatic garbage, and makes me want to skip the rest of an episode every time he brings it up. He also has a tendency to repeat stories, but I’m willing to shrug the occasional annoyance to enjoy what is otherwise a thoroughly enjoyably running podcast.

With a number of finishes, a 100 mile DNF, and a Never Summer DFL, I have my eyes set on Leadville this year, and your...Read full review »
