Nobody Else is Doing This
I’ve listened to climber podcasts for years—and they’re great, tale-telling, interview-based, about epic adventures and disasters, the works. But nobody out there is exploring the emotional contexts of climbing like Karlo does. And who else holds to an emphasis in their work on diversity, inclusiveness, and redressing the gendered and racialized and heteronormative power imbalances of climbing’s past (and present)? Nobody else is doing this. Nobody.
