Love this podcast… well I love the idea of this podcast! Reminds me a lot of The Dirtbag Diaries! The producing is great, it’s fun to listen to and I love the fact we are from the same state! However what completely kills this for me is how political it can be. It’s hard to listen to. I don’t...Read full review »

I discovered this podcast when I heard an ad for it on a different podcast that I listen to and it quickly became one of my favorites. It mixes climbing with beautiful stories of challenges and resilience. I highly recommend this podcast!

Kathy has so many gifts, and I’m grateful she shares them with her communities. This podcast habitually humanizes many shared experiences, and in doing so - makes many of feel like we have a sense of belonging. The production is clean, and the story telling often stops me in my tracks.

As a recently professed addict in recovery, I do not believe that stumbling upon episode 40 was a coincidence. I’m so grateful for the climbing and recovery communities. I feel heard. Also, as a dad in recovery, “The Letter” was such a great episode to reflect on from the eyes of my own children....Read full review »

This pod really shows the emotions that are intertwined with climbing. It tells not about the sport but the people who live and move within the space. Climbing is about sport but it is also about loving and supporting each other, which this podcast really shows.

For the Love of Climbing may claim to not be a climbing podcast, but it embodies qualities that all climbers aspire to: beauty, power, and uplift. The stories that are shared in this podcast are necessarily challenging. They inspire me to be a better person in our ragtag community.
