“Jen, first of all I'm a huge fan always have been. I've read all your books, watch your shows, heard you speak met you in person, I'm part of LC. So I am all in. I'm so excited you're doing this podcast because I love your platform and how witty, smart and engaging you are. How you stand firm and in the authority of Jesus. I know this is your first podcast but for me it just wasn't "Jen". The voice over lady threw me from from the beginning. Yeah she has a great voice but it was just so not there. Why not have your voice? Why don't you record some witty funny totally kick butt intro Jen style? I work in sales and marketing and I know about branding, as I know you do as well. That voice over of your podcast should be you (my opinion) and more catchy and savvy. I also loved your interview with Shaunna. But my only hesitation is having the same people that other people interview all the time, Same conversations, same layout. An hour for me is precious (as it is to you and others) and when I get an hour to read or listen I want to hear something fresh and new or unique. I will still listen to your podcasts because I am a huge fan. But I also want to be honest (because you asked us to) and just tell you my first impression. Again I know it is your first one and working out kinks, etc. But man can I just say unleash....unleash the Jen we all love, get real, bring in the hard topics you never shy away from, bring in new people, people on the brink of something amazing, people you've met who are killer but none of us every heard of. You can be the one to liven up and get gritty in this world of women podcasters, that can be so blah and repetitive. I love you and I am so on your team. I hope I don't get hate mail for this from your other fans 😬. It truly is just my opinion and I know either way your gonna have rave reviews and many followers.
