Love it

Why do so many podcasts feel that an overly affected, odd voice is better than someone who can tell us the story without getting in the way? Is this guy a Shakespearean actor? Is he half British? Annoying and distracting.

I’ve been looking long time for a new murder mystery podcast I’ve been listening to the Unsolved Mysteries podcast, but it was really hard to find another one that I really enjoyed. I came across this one and I’ve been hooked. they’re so good. The narrator does a really good job by locking you in...Read full review »

Great podcast , I love it. Almost as much as seeing ruzzia getting beat and battered.

I loved the old show as a podcast but it suddenly stopped. There was 1 new episode about James Brown, nothing new, not even any repeats.

Ads, ads, ads…
Willyzook via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/23/23
This classic show is surprisingly great as a podcast. They listened to feedback and cut down on the ads, where it’s the right amount now. Thank you for giving us some quick episodes. I hope we get more!

This has everything that I love in a podcast. It’s interesting, involves science and weirdly soothing. Please, please make more! (I know that there’s plenty of source material.)

Love Forensic Files Need more episodes
Sapiebs via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/06/23
It’s just the audio track of the Forensic Files episodes, but you don’t really need the video to be able to follow it. Really good.

I really like this podcast. My only complaint is that the stories are a bit short. Would be nice if they were at least 30 minutes.

It’s interesting to be listening to an episode when they ask you to look at a picture. And also too many ads. Over and over again with the ads.
User2w via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 10/19/22
There’s an ad every 2-3 mins. It’s annoying plus the momentum of the story is interrupted. Not listening any longer

No one wants to hear plugs for CNN over and over and over again. We all know they’re a bunch of lying pieces of crap on that network. Get some new sponsors please and make this good podcast listenable again.

Forensic files on tv was my first dip into true crime.. I was so excited when I found the podcast., it’s my favourite.. a nice mix of story telling and science..

The new host is fantastic - it doesn’t feel like I’m listening to a cheap knockoff! SO HAPPY to have FF back on podcasts :)

I lasted to the just up to the flatline. Is this how Americans really like to have their podcasts and TV shows? It has the Typical deep south droooooool voice, adding to the car crash was the 80s TV/film sound effects and the slow, noisy build up. You already Know the outcome is not going to be...Read full review »

I like forensic files but I hate the introduction of the podcast.

I really enjoy the in-depth analyses that each episode gets into, as well as the humorous comments of the narrator! Very enjoyable, quality content.

I have been an avid fan of the original Forensic Files show and podcast for many years. This show, however, is being removed from my subscriptions. The narrator completely distracts from the story. Such a disappointment.
anoesis.pieces via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/06/22
The obvious bias the show hosts display for white criminals vs Black accused is amazing, but not surprising. low class whites always suffer through unfortunate circumstances or addictions, yet Blacks are just flat out criminals, according to these clowns. Typical.
2020BHC via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/26/22
I just want to listen to crime podcast, not the same bias political commercials over and over and over.
mauschill via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/19/22
Short, succinct episodes that cover all the facts and leave out any filler. But the annoying and repetitive ads are ridiculously frequent and interrupt the flow of the narrative. Had to admit defeat after 4 episodes.
Tweedster1988 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 08/16/22
Love the story’s, however the same ad over and over again makes it almost unbearable to listen to.
deckerhad via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/14/22
Ooof. What a yucky experience, though not surprising. Seems the producers of this podcast are the same old dinosaur Boomer TV companies that are dying everyday because they failed to adapt to what consumers want these days. It’s such dumb thinking - “let’s make a 20 minute show and cram with the...Read full review »

A TV program put to audio. At times there is no “visual” to reference, which becomes annoying if that is a key part of the case. Not sure what happened with the numbering scheme on the episodes. I wish there were more new episodes; some have been pilfered from the last podcast series.

I'm finding it hard to adjust to the voice of the new narrator. He sounds like Randy Marsh from South Park, crossed with the Queen of England's butler.Read full review »

Peter Thomas is the GOAT, but the storylines and layout of the show still makes it worthwhile.
trent eve via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/14/22
Producers don’t remember that listeners if podcasts are not the same as viewers of the show. Referring to things that one cannot see is annoying. And the same reason I stopped watching the show: the ads every 3 minutes

Do away with all commercials 😜 But seriously, the SAME commercial every 7 minutes is maddening.
Hatenot via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/02/22
No super surprise - it’s the same show as before. A slightly different voice, but intones the same. And all the rest is reassuringly similar. Love it!
Pete Monk via Apple Podcasts · New Zealand · 06/30/22
Yes, Forensic Files II doesn't have Peter Thomas' classic naration. BUT the new narrator is fine, and I enjoy the compact nature of the show - it doesn't drag on to get to an hour on TV.Read full review »

He doesn’t deserve the flack. But the show’s curse is that they had the absolute master of true crime narration in their first run. I was open minded going in, even excited, but very quickly I just couldn’t stand listening to the new guy. If you didn’t watch/listen to the first run, this show is...Read full review »
