“A while ago, R4 made the 'Four in 4' podcast, presented by Kathy Clugston. It was great: a series of clips from R4 shows, themed around particular subjects and presented brilliantly by Clugston. I was disappointed they decided to cancel it. Now 'Fortunately' is here to sort-of fill the gap, just not in quite as successful way: Garvey and Glover chat about R4 shows, they play in very short snippets from programmes and then they chat some more. “I came to this late but having listened now to all the episodes it’s my number one choice. It’s like listening to my friends chatting while I’m cooking and on top of the laughs are often thought provoking or poignant sections. I miss the recommendations for shows or podcasts to hunt out though.”
