A companion on the level of Demerzel
I cannot recall many companion podcasts that has the show runner involved week to week, so there’s a lot of great insights. I love the focus on story and character, but I would like to have a little more discussion of the performances too. Episode 3 is a good example, excellent breakdown of the story and character, like a writers room debrief, but it also works because Laura Birn was phenomenal in her reactions. Maybe it will just depend on who is on the show each week and I do appreciate hearing how writers think about their story, but that felt like a gap in this otherwise excellent podcast.
