Just being honest
I’ve listened to A LOT of true crime podcasts and the format of a single narrator along with voice actors is making it almost impossible for me to get interested it just turns into background noise while I work. I wonder why their are no interviews with real people. I don’t feel like there are any real people telling the listener what happened or giving any background at all.

What is it with Wondery podcasts and this trope of recreating conversations and reenactments?? But I cannot make it through that “old man” voice in ep 3. Soooo painfully annoying. I would rather have the narrator just read the responses rather than have to listen to that.

I really wanted to like this because the story is interesting but this podcast is killed by the unnecessary re-enactments and crappy editing.
