Radical & Liberated Birth
Deeply inspiring. Profoundly touching. I am so grateful to Emilee and her interviewees for sharing their stories and wisdom. It is so apparent that the journey of birth has been colonized by a patriarchal, techno-capitalist medical industry resulting in stolen birth experiences for so many women. Free Birth is a reclamation of those experiences. I hear the raw power in these stories—I want to live in a world where free birth does not have to be radical. I hope that with more exposure to stories like these, we can return as a society to the sacred state of normal birth in which we trust ourselves, our anscestors and our gods.
