I am a great fan of Free Buddhist Audio, there is so much teaching available on the site, and I am an addict. I listen in the car, at home, in bed, and am deepening my understanding and inspiration to walk the buddhist path. I find this presentation of the dharma is so clear and does not...Read full review »

Thanks to the FWBO for providing this wonderful collection of dharma-talks! These are witty, engaged, colorful, and learned presentations on a variety of schools and methods from the Buddhist world at large, and unlike anything I've heard in the podcast world of Buddhist presentations. It is such...Read full review »

Others gloss over complexities and write wordy tomes but these lectures go right to the heart of complex issues: death and the Buddhist, what is mind? This is a fabulous set of lectures, but not for those who prefer their "mystery". The more I listen to, the more I value this set of lectures. Do...Read full review »

I was a bit disappointed as I wanted to find out a lot more about Buddhism but found that the speakers in the two podcasts I tried seemed to be making many references I wasn't familiar with. Also, they talked a lot but the informational content was minimal. I think you really do have spend more...Read full review »

À ne pas manquer pour quiconque souhaite une explication accessible de la physique quantique et quelques parallèles fort intéressant entre la physique et le dharma.

For anyone who wishes to learn about Buddhism, or to go further and begin to explore it practically, day by day, this is the best broadcast resource on the web. It is void of any elitism or the confusion of tongues (and thoughts) of much that puts itself forward as 'buddhist' has no 'new age'...Read full review »

I loved the talk on the Three Visions of the Buddha. I wish we would hear more from this particular speaker. Not only are his talks well thought out, but very well presented. I would really like to learn more from him. Please encourage more talks from this particular speaker. Thank you very...Read full review »

A reflection of the quality of the practice of real western buddhists. Real western people engaging in real western practice, no dilettantes here. Buddhism is not simply its cultural trappings as many practioners might have you believe. Culture provides context for our own lived experience in the...Read full review »

This is very informational and interesting stuff. Thanks so much for putting all of the time and effort into it. I can't wait for the long car ride to work so that I can listen to more.

This podcast is an excellent addition, especially for the spiritual section. Most podcasts are either filled with adverts or just low in content, but not this one. I'm fairly new to Buddhism and although I've read a few books some of their talks really blew me away. Just needs more additions!

These are simply excellent!!! I like the variety of speakers. The content is very rich and well presented. I only wish they would publish more of these more frequently. I am eagerly awaiting the next installment.

The series is a concise summary of Buddhism's basic precepts, that is intellectually consistent and uplifting. Sometimes there are dreary side roads, but in the main the speakers stay on point. Although I am a skeptic when it comes to metaphysical hand-me-downs, the ideas expressed here are...Read full review »
