“Today I listened to my first episode of this podcast from FFRF, with guest Fred Karger from Californians Against Hate. This was an interesting topic to explore, and I also enjoyed the interview with Mark Monninger from Cucamonga. Monninger was on to talk about the removal of a FFRF billboard at the behest of city officials in Cucamonga. What I didn't like about this episode is that co-host Annie Laurie Gaylor was constantly interrupting Monninger, trying to tell his story for him, and generally stepping on him whenever he took a breath or took longer than one second to search for the right word. This was really grating and frustrating for me, as I didn't see the point in having an interview subject if the host wanted to tell the story herself. Also, I will agree with other reviewers that the music was irritating and unnecessary - I could definitely live without it. I will check out other episodes before I give up on this podcast, because I think it fills a need and looks to have a lot of interesting subjects to explore, hopefully with depth. I just hope she is not always such a bad interviewer.”Read full review »

The guests are great (e.g. Richard Dawkins, Julia Sweeney, Steven Pinker, etc.) All of the content is good: history, philosophy, politics, theology, logic. The format is professional and the segments nicely-varied. Sound...”Read full review »
