“The content is good, particularly episodes on alternative ways to say common things so that you aren’t overusing the same words. However the host does sound like she learnt English from endlessly rewatching Mary Poppins or Downton Abbey - I’ve never heard a non-native English speaker trying so hard to replicate the poshest English accent imaginable. She also spews so many English idiomatic sayings with the cumulative effect being just a bit showy for my liking.”
