Ripping apart a recent review
Both the show Friends and the podcast Friends With Friends have a special place in my heart. I know the show so well I don’t need to rewatch when the podcast episodes come round. This knowledge means I know there are lots of amazing parts to the show, however I am also well aware of the show’s flaws. Pete and Dave love the show too and have made that very clear, however it’s only right as part of their approach to look at the show in the context of a modern audience and see what material does and doesn’t hold up. If there’s one thing the hosts are it is relaxed. Does their planning, occasionally bordering on shambolic, look like the work of uptight people? No, and it makes them and the show all the more endearing. Some would say it is a “marvel”. Certain reviews of this podcast should be ripped up as they are not worth the virtual paper they are written on. Ignore the haters, this is a great listen from either side of the pond or beyond.

If you’re a friends obsessive like me (I still watch at least one episode most days), then I cannot recommend this podcast enough. Thanks...Read full review »
