The astounding encyclopaedic knowledge of the geo-political and economical subtext of New York City in the 1990s and beyond is truly both informative and mesmeric, relating to ongoing systemic issues as well as the time specific events of circumstances including blackouts. And then there’s thumbing it in. A phrase that made me stop, laugh, and be sick a bit in my mouth. This is a podcast I truly look forward to each and every week, and makes what can be torturous running into a jovial breeze for the time it’s on!
