“I initially found this podcast while searching iTunes for content about Zak Bagans. I did this because he fascinates and infuriates me in equal measure. I realise that searching for podcasts to try and reaffirm my opinion on a celebrity that I have never met and never will meet is odd, but that’s besides the point.
The ZakBag episodes were enough to get me hooked however and Frightday is now easily my number one go to podcast.
The kind of podcast that makes you consider attempting the mind numbingly difficult task of moving your family from the UK to the US so you can buy a house in Montana on the off chance that you’ll run into one of the creators at a coffee shop, play it cool and nonchalantly say “hi” while pretending you don’t know who they are.
I like many reviewers here feel an affinity to the hosts. I saw someone describe it as being like a podcast hosted by your friends but they don’t know they’re you’re friends. That’s a perfect description.
My wife despises horror films as she is a massive scaredy-cat, so I have to secretly watch horror at around 5am on a Saturday or Sunday. (That however is her only flaw.)
Listening to the show makes me feel like I have someone to share the horror culture with, and that makes me feel lovely.
Byron’s insane work rate, humour and easy going nature make this a joy to listen to. Kelly would drive me to insanity if I ever met her, but I’m sure that I’d be laughing all the way to the padded room at the puzzle factory. (She’s lovable really…)
Keep up the great work.”
