“イギリスBBCラジオのパーソナリティーであるサイモン・メイヨーが持っている映画紹介の番組で、毎回、映画批評家マーク・カーモード（イギリスではかなりの人気批評家）を迎えて繰り広げられる。前半は、イギリスの興行トップ１０についてカーモードがコメント。後半は新作について数本を解説している。カーモードのコメントは非常に鋭く、深く、中身がしっかりしている。独断的なところもあるが、そこがカーモードの個性。早口だが、内容は難しくないのでかなり理解できる。２人の掛け合いも面白い。アメリカの映画環境とはひと味違う、イギリスの映画環境がよくわかり、日本で公開されるものについては、ここでのコメントをかなり参考にしている。”
