One of many gems on BBC
I am a BBC addict, mostly listen to World Service Newshour .. BUT when I discovered FOOC I found  I was in for a real delicacy. These segments are little, pristene novelletes,  stories told in exquisite detail in a very intimate manner .....  each one long enough to create their own little world, but short enough to be comfortably digested.   Truly one of the BBC's gems

From our own correspondent adds the human dimension to the otherwise sterile and flat delivery of most newscasts. I listened to the programme through my university days back in Uganda and was delighted to find an even easier way to listen on the go when I moves to the UK years back. Still as moving 12 years on.
